We have over 13 years’ experience in the field of employment law. We support businesses through robust legal advice, implementation of personnel documentation, assisting or chairing a range of internal meetings, legal awareness updates, accredited master class employment law training and employment tribunal representation.
As well as equipping you with the tools to manage all your employment law needs, we can also provide you with health and safety handbooks and health and safety training. Searchlight’s health and safety handbooks are drafted and updated by Kher Solicitors Limited. They are experienced lawyers who were the winners for the Yorkshire Lawyers Awards in 2013.
As well as providing health and safety documentation, Kher Solicitors will provide assistance in the event of a health and safety prosecution and tailored health and safety training.
How we can help you
We can install all relevant contracts, employee handbooks and managerial handbooks. These can be tailored to meet your business needs.
We aim to take all the pressure and responsibility of drafting contracts of employment away from you so that you can concentrate on the essential task of running your business. As well as providing you with a contract of employment, employee handbook and a managerial handbook, we will also provide you with standard template letters which cover nearly every eventuality. Most Employment Law Specialists do not provide this information to you unless you ask and only then is it disclosed on a case by case basis.
At Searchlight, the help you are looking for is already incorporated into your managerial handbook. And, of course, you are always able to speak to us for guidance on any proposed drafted letters. We will also draft equal opportunities policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, terms and conditions relating to absenteeism, sickness and lateness will also be covered in your employee handbook so your employees will know what procedure to follow in any of these eventualities.
Finally, we shall continually update your handbooks so that you are confident that you are acting within the current legislation. We will aim to provide updates every 6 months but will alert you earlier should the necessity arise.
